Welcome to Restoration

Join us for service this Sunday at 9 & 11AM

We exist as a family of faith to bring glory to God and hope to the world by helping people know and follow Jesus.

By faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, we are family.

Who is Restoration Church?

We are a Christian church committed to glorifying God and bringing hope to the world by helping people know and follow Jesus. Our mission aligns with Jesus' command to make disciples and teach them to obey all He has commanded (Matthew 28:19-20). As we guide every man, woman, and child in their walk with Jesus, we believe God will be glorified, hope will be restored, and our faith family will experience ever-increasing joy.

How did Restoration Church begin?

In 2013, a group of leaders sensed the call to start a new, gospel-centered church in the city of Homestead. A gospel-centered church is one that clearly focuses on who Jesus is and what He has done for us so we can see how that gospel transforms our identity and empowers us with new motivations and behaviors. It was on November 3, 2013, when the dream became reality, and under the name Core Community Church, we held our first public services in the cafeteria of Everglades Preparatory Academy.

From that time on, we prayed that God would grow us and use our church in Homestead for generations to come.  We asked God to one day provide a permanent place for us to call home, and after years of this prayer, on October 15, 2017, God led St. Andrews Lutheran Church to vote and GIFT their property to us. Over the course of the next 2 years, we invested time, labor, money, and love into the property, completing substantial renovations. And it was on September 29, 2019, that we officially changed our name to Restoration Church Homestead and held our first services in our new home at 1955 N. Krome Avenue.
