Angel Santiago

Youth Director

I was born here in homestead and I’m the oldest of ten siblings! My mother is Filipino/Hawaiian and my dad is Puerto Rican. The best thing about having a dynamic ethnicity is the different cultures growing up. I enjoy the different foods both sides of my family cook especially at family gatherings because I love eating! I grew up playing football and basketball! My favorite teams are the Miami Heat (Wade County) and unfortunately the Miami Dolphins. I love anything that has to do with the ocean/ outdoors. In my spare time I enjoy time with friends and going to the gym. Whenever I need an exhilarating rush I ride my Yamaha R6 sports bike. I do have a need for speed! (Forgive me Jesus) The Gospel of Jesus Christ has transformed my life in so many ways. I constantly am reminded in every area of my life that I’m not here to serve myself, but only to serve him for his glory. This biblical truth is constantly bringing my heart peace knowing that I’m never in control of the outcome of my life. I love Serving in Vibe youth with the students because I get to experience pure joy from relationships only built on the love of Christ. Every Wednesday my heart is engaged in a supernatural way that I’ve ever experienced before. One tribe, One Vibe!!
